Welcome to the Systems and Informatics Research Laboratory (SIRL) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal. We work on applied societal research problems where sensing and analytics are leveraged to design and build tangible solutions. At large, our lab collects data in real-world settings with sensors, uses data to understand the problem dynamics, and builds data-driven scalable solutions in the form of robust and affordable systems. October, 2024 : Haroon invited to serve as a reviewer of ACM CHI 2025 and a TPC member of ACM CHASE 2025.
October, 2024 : Haroon was invited to give a talk on ``Building Blocks of IoT - Creating Real-World Data Collection Applications" in Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme at IISER Bhopal
July, 2024 : Durgesh, Nilesh, and Soumya receieved travel grants from ACM COMPASS 2024. They will be presenting their research papers at the conference.
